DOCTORS AND CINEMATOGRAPHY PRESIDENT APPLAUD SAMUEL OFORI’S MOVIE; “EBOLA”

After the leak on a try poster for Samuel Ofori’s upcoming movie on Ebola, some concerned doctors quickly proposed for a preview copy. This was to confirm if the movie isn’t the usual Kumawood style. We were privileged to be at the doctor’s premiere over the weekend in Kumasi.
Surprisingly, doctors of the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital had a simultaneous line in an interview: “Indeed, the movie is very educative, hope the government comes on board to support the producer.” Madam Dorcas Asibey, a nurse from Atasemanso Clinic, added: “The movie educates on the preventive measures. I love the new Kumawood.” She smiles.

The actor cum director was overwhelmed by the response. He showed us a remarkable text from the Censorship board and it reads: “We will call on the Health Ministry to assist this creative piece. Let us know when you’ll be in Accra, congrate!” Well, the official poster is out now and a teaser which awaits a subtitled trailer. Enjoy the teaser!  Do you think the movie deserves an applaud?
