From The Corner Of The Author of Ymzonline.blogspot.com
For quite a decade and half now, Nigerian nascent
democracy has witnessed a paradigm shift which may have also led to a quantum
leap on the part of governance, for which every patriotic Nigerian should take
a sigh of relief to, and as such hope for the better, if not the best of democratic atmosphere in no distant time.
This observation of reality is in no doubt a landmark
achievement as well as a great feat on the Nigerian political sphere, despite
all the mishaps that have so far trailed this Nation.
One may need to wonder the reason why I try to incite or make a little reference to these big names in the World of Politics; this is to shine more light on the path which Nigeria is treading on, more so, our electoral and political settings, which seem not to have garnered the full encomium and ovation of most of the Nigerian populace so far.
These countries highlighted herein, may be envisioned to
have a near-perfect state of electoral and political ground at this point, but
suffice it to note that, they in their own period of inception of democratic state, got saddled
with great difficulties such as power imbalance and imperfect system in the course of nurturing their democracy.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad there are still young people of our time that still doesn't see election process in Nigeria as a means of enriching themselves to the detriment of the nation's progress, rather the right process must be followed to achieve a lasting peace and progress in Nigeria. So glad I knew your blog. I'm sure gonna broadcast your nice work
ReplyDeleteGreat piece. Hoping to catch up with subsequent editions.
ReplyDeleteThis topic of discourse is as good as the other topic that centered ob 'Corruption' you brought to the Good morning Nigerians' platform yesterday. They are truly burning issues and at the center of the Nigerian democracy, I think they deserve to be discussed to help get the people especially the Youth to come to terms with their constitutional duties during electioneering process. This is a nice one by Ymzonline blog.
ReplyDeleteVery nice piece, surely the Nigerian youths need to be sensitized because obviously they've gone berserk with hunger for getting rich at all cost, that make them to sell their consciences to the ill-mannered politicians all for money. This have made our nation to be held ransom by bad leaders over the years
ReplyDeleteI must say that this is a good approach in a good direction and time. Youths of this country need to be informed about what they ought to do during elections to ensure a corrupt-free Nigerian nation.
ReplyDeleteRide on ymzonline blogger.
Sensitizing the people not just the youths alone will do us a lot of good. Please take note of this, I'm behind this notion in full
ReplyDeleteI may not be from Nigeria, but I'm sure that any good person no matter race, color or religion would agree to your writing, to build a solid and successful nation, especially with the recent democratic collapses happening around the world, especially in Africa.

I just wish that many Youths out there even the parents would read through this, because it's time this sensitization process started especially now that 2015 general elections is around the corner.
ReplyDeleteI need to be steady on this topic, I would like it to be discussed over and over, because Nigerian youths have gone so wild that they don't know the needful when it comes to elections. I hope you can take this approach to air like a sort of TV show, it will be more helpful. But it's okay bringing it up here anyways.
ReplyDeleteI love this topic, it is exactly what needs to be done to salvage our electoral and political grounds
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to be seeing life-changing information on your blog, it shows you are concerned about the common good of the your people. I'll always be glad that I came to know you, Young Money Zone. Tina from Texas
