Esther Kenneth Is The Winner Of Miss AGN-Eko


A winner has emerged in the 2014 edition of Miss AGN-Eko beauty contest. The pageant produced a student of Mass Communications of the North America University, Esther Kenneth as winner of the keenly contested competition. Also, Nkoyo Ikot was announced as first runner-up of the pageant, while Sarah Temitope emerged the second runner-up. The beauty show produced Victoria Buseni as Miss Photogenic and Anita Nwaogwu as Miss Intelligent.The newly-crowned Queen, from the Kwale tribe in Delta State, made it to the top five of the competition among 14 other leggy contestants with intimidating beauty. The event got to its peak when five of the 15 contestants were picked after a drama presentation by all of them. They all held guest, drawn from all walks of life, spellbound. Esther walked home with a movie contract, a cash prize and a 42-inch Plasma TV. She will now be addressed as Miss AGN–Eko. The beauty Queen disclosed that she will ensure the less privileged in the society are empowered, while promising to promote the excellent spirit of Lagos.

In his remarks, Chairman AGN Lagos Chapter, Don Pedro Aganbi congratulated the new Queen and urged her to use her reign to develop a pet project.“The objective of the pageant is to discover tourism potentials for Nollywood and corporate organisations. We believe that the pageant would continue to foster and create new role models who through the beauty pageant will serve as ambassadors that will define a new Nigeria, enrich the beauty of the Nigerian woman,” Aganbi said.
