Malawi: It Is All Set for Luciano's Concert in Malawi


All is set for Jamaican reggae singer Luciano to embark on his summer tour to Africa, and hold a concert in Malawi on October 19. organizers have confirmed. Born Jepther McClymont, also known as Jah Messenger, has also been invited by one of the organizers Born Afrikan, a Malawian reggae artist who is based in South Africa, to perform in the country at Lilongwe Golf Club in city of Lilongwe. Born Afrikan confirmed that the deal had been sealed.The organizers are reported to have posted a message of the show on one of their social network platforms.

"I am an international reggae artist and reggae music is the genre that's in me. I'm assuring the nation that it's 100 percent true that Luciano will have a gig in Lilongwe" said Afrikan. The show will only be in Lilongwe due to limited funds.He will perform with Malawian reggae sensational band Black Missionaries, Blasto, Trumel and many more.Luciano, 49, is well known for his favorites such as Lord Give Me Strength, Sweep Over My Soul, and A New Day.He has released 20 albums and among them include; Moving Up, Messenger, Sweep Over My Soul, A New Day, Great Controversy and Jah is My Navigator. Admission tickets are going at MK7500, while VIP is at MK15000. The gates will be open at 10 A.M according to the organizers.
