Gay group in Botswana jubilate over rights to marry each other
The Judge of a High Court sitting in Botswana has finally granted an official right to the LEGABIBO group; that is [Lesbians, Gays and Bisexuals of Botswana] to inter-marry themselves without any more government restrictions. Therefore, this group is now a registered and legal organisation.
It was reported that the Judge 'Terrence Rannowane' in giving his verdict stated that the refusal of the government to register the group was not constitutional.
He further said that '"It is also not a crime to be a homosexual." This court ruling was given yesterday the 14th of November, 2014.
