This is terrible and very sad news to hear that the boyfriend of Sofia, the elder sister of 'Maria Jose Alvarado' the current Miss Honduras of 2014 was the one behind her missing and eventual death.
According to report, it was said that this monster of a boyfriend named 'Plutarco Ruiz' had admitted that he shot 23-year old Sofia his supposedly girlfriend, because he saw her dancing with another man at his birthday party, so he got enraged with anger, and decide to fire gun shots at her. Then after that, he turned the gun to Sofia's younger sister and the Miss Honduras 2014 'Maria Jose Alvarado', and shot her, because she was a witness to the killing he has done.
It was said that after killing these girls, he carried them with the company of his accomplices to the river bank that is close to the spot where the party was held and buried them there.
Also, three other men have been arrested because according to investigations, they were connected with the murder of these two sisters.
By the time Ruiz had taken the Police to the place where he buried the 2-sisters, which was in the mountainous region very close to the border of Guatemala, the bodies had already began decomposing, and he said that he laid them there for quick decomposition.
This is man's inhumanity to man, a callous act of sheer greed.
