D’Banj Takes ‘Fight’ To Kennedy's Family

Top Nigeria pop star, D’Banj has continued to prove a point that he is a big ‘fish’ that cannot be pushed aside in the African entertainment industry. From the look of things, he is vigorously pursuing the ‘One Campaign’, a ‘fight’ for Africa, with all that he has. The sensational artiste, who was recently at the US-Africa Summit in Washington DC, USA, has reportedly journeyed to California to meet with one of his mentors, Bobby Shiver.

Bobby Shriver is an activist, attorney, journalist and a member of the Kennedy Family. Shiver produced the prime-time TV feature about Special Olympics for physically-challenged young persons, founded by his mother in 1968, which went on to raise USD 55 million for the programme. He also produced several films, including ‘True Lies’ starring Arnold Schwarzenegger (Arnold was once married to Bobby’s sister) and founded DATA (Debt, AIDS, Trade in Africa) alongside U2 lead singer, Bono.
