Although one of Nigeria's top music video director, Patrick Elis, has officially debunked rumours that he was dating his client artiste, Eva Elordiah, the Delta State born talented dude reveals reasons the romance rumours went viral. He maintained that Eva is more like a younger sister to him and they share so many things alike even sense of fashion. The 26-year old director who shot to limelight after he shot Wizkid's 'Holla at your boy' video also squealed that he had really wanted to be a baby daddy at 22.
"At a point in my life I wanted to have a baby when I was 22. I really
wanted to but then I sat down and asked myself why I really wanted a
child at that age. I wanted to have a baby by all means but was I really
ready to face reality of taking care of my baby and the mother? Then, I
remembered my father got married to my mom before they gave birth to
us. It might really not work the same way, but I am not ready to be a
father now. He also spoke on Clarence Peters as a threat to him in the behind the camera business.
"Clarence
is never a threat to me because we are not directing same kind of
videos. We have different dreams. My dream is to become a very
successful business man. If I have a serious business, I can ask
Clarence to help me direct some videos. I have a friend that’s a star
and I don’t shoot most of his videos and he’s my very close friend but I
linked him up with other directors not because I can't shoot but
because it’s business for me. I have never woken one day to see Clarence
as a threat to me. I might quit directing tomorrow and my competitor
might be down. I am contending with many rich men, does that make every
of them a threat to me?" He said.
