Homemade Bomb Wrapped In Liverpool Scarf Found At Home Of Gangland Killer Jamie Bain's New Wife- Terror!

Threat: Dionne Hendry and, right, Jamie Bain

The find came after Dionne Hendry's Range Rover was blasted with a gun on Saturday night outside her Edinburgh home. It has now emerged the shooter left a drum of petrol with shotgun cartridges strapped to it, reports the Daily Record. A Liverpool FC scarf was draped over the explosive package, which had the sinister message, “Time’s running out, lad”, written on its side. A similar device was found at the home of a Bain associate in the Inch. A photo she took of the device has been obtained by the ymzonline.blogspot.com, and it is shown below.

On it was stencilled: “Pay what you are due, lad.” Sources said Bain, who is rumoured to be involved in the drug trade from inside Shotts jail, is in debt to a Liverpool gang. A source said: “The Liverpool scarf makes it clear who is involved.” It is understood a man with a Scouse accent visited relatives of Dionne, 32, in Gilmerton on Friday night to ask where he could find her. They said they could not help.

Dionne’s car was left with pellet marks below its registration plate from a suspected shotgun blast at her Liberton home. It is believed Dionne went outside and found the bomb on her doorstep.  It is thought bomb disposal experts were called to the scene to deal with the device as police sealed off the street. A short time later, a house was shot at in nearby Gilmerton Dykes Drive. Dionne married Bain, 30, at a ceremony in prison in July. He is serving life for the murder of former boxing champ Alex McKinnon in 2006. Detective Chief Inspector Kenny Gray, who is leading the inquiry, said: “This is a serious incident which is unacceptable in our community.”

Crude: The homemade bomb, complete with misspelled note!
