We spotted Alessandra Ambrosio as she just got off a 15-hour-plus flight from Sydney, Australia to Los Angeles. Astonishingly, the 33-year-old Brazilian bombshell was fresh-faced and gorgeous as ever while shopping in the trendy West Hollywood area on Friday. Alessandra - who was Down Under to film a guest spot on Australia's Next top Model - perhaps had those South American genes to thank for the glowingly smooth complexion and the energy.

The supermodel smiled without any sign of fatigue commonly known as jet lag, which comes after traveling long distances on high-speed airplanes and sleep rhythm is interrupted. Alessandra strolled down the sidewalk showing off her slender legs in tight white shorts made brighter by the cobalt-blue top and a beaded fringe bag. She let her glossy brown locks down to pick up the warm autumn breezes, while T-strap white sandals kept her feet cool.

Alessandra, no doubt, deserved a little indulging following her whirlwind two-day trip to Sydney where she was a guest judge on the modeling competition show.

At Thursday's event for Australia's Next Top Model, Alessandra wowed in a black top and flare mini-skirt set with pointy black heels. On the red carpet Alessandra spoke about her experience as a mentor to the newest crop of young models. 'They improved from the minute they got in front of the camera until we got them to where we wanted them,' the brunette beauty shared.

'Believe in yourself, show your personality. You might be nervous or stiff, but use what you have. Study yourself, show your best features,' she said, adding: 'To be a top model you have to be almost perfect.'
