Photo credit to NYTimes: Residents of Dallas allaying fear as Mr Mike Rawlings speak to them, everything is being taken care of
This is very shocking and sad news to listen to again, not after the death of the Liberian 'Mr. Thomas Duncan' that occurred last Wednesday, which has continued to engender fear and anxiety among the residences of Dallas Texas. But another similar incident has occurred as a nurse who works at the hospital where the dead Liberian was treated before his unfortunate death has been said to have contracted the deadly Ebola Virus, following coming in contact with the late Thomas Duncan, due to the fact that she was among the health workers that assisted in the treatment of the dead Liberian at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital the first time he reported for health check-up on his arrival from his home country, Liberia, before his eventual death at the Ebola Isolation Center in Texas.
But the Texas health department has really expressed shock over this sorry situation of this said nurse whose names were withed to avoid raising more public anxiety and fear, stating that it is quite incomprehensible as how she possibly contracted this Ebola virus even with the appropriate protective gear that was being put on by all health workers that were assigned to treat the Ebola patient.
Because of this, the The federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has decided to place the hospital where Mr Duncan died under tight scrutiny so as to confirm if at all they followed the directives of the State Health Department in taking care of any suspected Ebola patient, which is to give appropriate and adequate training to its health workers to ensure that they stay safe in the course of treating patients who have been linked with EVD in any way.

To this effect, the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention stated that they shall be carrying out a nationwide training conference call this Tuesday to enable thousands of health care workers get the adequate knowledge on how to run the affairs of any suspected Ebola Virus Disease victim.
It is very terrible as to know that this said nurse who was on the duty post to give humanitarian aid to a patient has been infected with this EVD, and my message now is that the C.D.C in collaboration with the Dallas health worker should do everything possible to save the life of this nurse.
