The billionaire man David Rockefeller and the foundation of his late friend 'Stavros Niarchos' a Greek shipping billionaire, have made a promise of $150million fund to inflate the university which was founded by his grandfather 'John D. Rockefeller. This act of philanthropy is to enable the institution put up more buildings to the already 14-acre campus on Manhattan in NYC. The two parties will be contributing $75million to this effect.
While David Rockefeller's part of the pledge will be shall be paid in full at his death, his late friend's foundation known as "Niarchos Foundation" shall for over a period of 10-years continue to contribute $7.5million.
These two billionaires have been friends and business partners over half a century and this has contributed to them buying multi-billion dollar empire "Rockefeller Center' which was built by Rockefeller's father back in the 1930s. They have maintained good friendship until this day, and that is the reason they are into this together without any reservation.
David Rockefeller at 99-years of age, is the only living grand-child of John D. Rockefeller and also the world's oldest billionaire, according to Forbes report.
