The police force in River state has made a successful arrest of nine cultists yesterday, Nov, 24th, following a tip-off from several persons who made distress calls to them, informing them that there seem to be a battle for authority between the De-Well and Degban cult groups at the Okuwuzi village in Onelga LGA.
It was said that as soon as the Police men spotted the area, some of them fled while these ones shown in the picture here were apprehended, and their names are; Chinazo Amaechi, Nna Chisom, Solomon Ossai, Regimus Igwelatu, Monday Jackson, Chinonso Fordima and Tony Amanya.
Meanwhile, the items recouped from them include, 1-pump action gun, 1-double barrel gun, 4-live cartridges, a Honda jeep with registration number No: IMO WER 685 FX, a Toyota Camry saloon car, with Reg No:Rivers , BER 407 AP, 2-laptops, and various charms.
At this point, each of these nine cultists confessed to the particular cult group they belong and they are in the police net for further investigations.
