Forbes Names Orji Uzor Kalu And Tony Elumelu Among The List Of World's Richest People

It is now on record that the first democratic former governor of Abia state 'Dr Orji Uzor Kalu' and 'Tony Elumelu' the Managing Director of United Bank For Africa (UBA) have made the list of the Forbes Richest people in the World.

I'm not surprised to get this news, because obviously, I know these two dynamic billionaires have made it to that level, and for them to be included into the list of World's richest persons by Forbes, is been long expected.

Going by Forbes list, Nigerian billionaires are 13-of them on the list , while South Africa has 11-billionaires there.


Africa’s 50 richest are also wealthier than a year ago. Their combined net worth of $110.7billion is 6.7% more than in Nov. 2013. The minimum net worth needed to join this elite group rose to $510 million, up from $400 million a year ago."
There are three new billionaires on the list: Orji Uzor Kalu of Nigeria, Tony Elumelu of Nigeria and King Mohammed VI of Morocco." Forbes reports.
