The governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose has issued an ultimatum of two months to all house owners in the state to ensure that they build toilets in their houses to enable their tenants have a place of convenience.
He charged them to ensure that they stick to this order as directed or would be punished for failure to adhere to the instructions.
Also, the Governor Fayose further said that any tenant that violates the law by paying for any house without a toilet either knowingly or unknowingly, shall stand the same penalty as was due to the house owner.
It is on his monthly Radio and TV programme which is known as “Meet your governor” that he used as a medium to spread this information and warned that all involved should give strict adherence to it.
