A medical doctor in the Akure city of Ondo State was very fortunate as he was said to have escaped assassination from some gunmen who came to his house and held him hostage together with his wife and children for over 30 minutes.
The said whose names are Dr. Muyiwa Alonge, who is working at the Federal Medical Center (FMC) Owo in Akure, Ondo State, stated to newsmen that men of the underworld came to him and informed him that they were sent to kill him, but it took the special intervention of God to rescue them from the shackles of these deadly people, because while he was held captive by these people, he was praying and finally God intervened, so they left without hurting him or any member of his family.
They only took some valuables like mobile phones, laptops and money. It was such a great miracle that he was left alive after all.
