The Twitter social media was in total network breakdown which was said to have occurred as a result of a bug that attacked their database.
Following this circumstance, several of Twitter users were not able to get access their accounts, but it is alright that the problem has been restored and everything is working quite properly now.
It was said this scenario was orchestrated by the North Korean government, in retaliation to the shutdown of their internet network by the US government few days ago.
In a statement released by Twitter regarding the situation it read, “We apologize for any inconvenience,”
This technical problem took place between the hours of 4pm to 9pm Californian Time Zone, and they have apologized for the inconvenience that may have been seen by its users.
