Chief Tom Ikimi Dumps APC, Seems PDP Is His Next Target

Former National chairmanship aspirant of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Chief Tom Ikimi, has announced his withdrawal from the party. It is not immediately known what Political Party the former foreign Affairs Minister would be heading to. But sources hinted Pointblanknews.com that Ikimi might be moving with his supporters to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.  Ikimi participation in the party has been limited since the National Convention of the party in June which produced Chief John Oyegun as the party's national chairman.

Ikimi was interested in the position but was allegedly forced to withdraw from the race to pave way for the emergence of the alleged anointed candidate of the national leader of the party and former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

  1. All politicians think about is the next election. The whole defection craze seen among Nigerian politicians is all driven by selfishness.
