Controversial singer, Taylor Swift could have stopped traffic when she stepped out in a decidedly simple getup including tiny black high waisted shorts on Friday. The 24-year-old Shake It Off songstress smiled and waved as she made her way through the Big Apple while showing off her long, slim pins. She doesn't need to do very much to look glamorous because she's already beautiful.

Her black denim shorts finished at her upper thighs and reached all the way up to her bellybutton, and she teamed them a loose-fitting V-neck sweater. She flashed a sliver of midriff as she went about her way, marching along the brick road in brown leather ankle boots. Taylor wore her cropped blonde tresses out and topped them with a black bucket hat, giving herself a fashion-forward image.

She shielded her pretty face behind a pair of Ray Ban Wayfarers and added a splash of deep pink lipstick.
Over her arm, the hardworking singer slung a maroon leather handbag to store her essentials and appeared perfectly content as she went about what was likely a work day. If not a work day, then perhaps a day with some of her famous girlfriends like Karlie Kloss or Lena Dunham, but not boys; Taylor has revealed that she's not interested in love right now.

In an interview with FASHION Magazine's Novemeber edition, Taylor, who has dated a slew of famous men including Joe Jonas, John Mayer and Harry Styles, says she's become less interested in romance now she's older.

'When I was younger, I was just fascinated by romance and now the most important thing to me is the opinions of [my] sisterhood of friends,' she told the magazine. 'Celebrities surround themselves with people who don’t know what they want and only have you to validate their lives that’s not interesting to me.
