It's been revealed that a biography titled "Respect" about the great singer 'Aretha Franklin' which according to her was unauthorized was written by grammy award- winning artiste and author David Ritz.
I learnt that both of them have worked together over the years, and that is what prompted David Ritz , to put this book together in respect of Aretha, but she has lashed out at him, stating that there are several things included in that piece that was lies about her.
And when she talked about it, she revealed that it was because of the misunderstanding both of them had sometime in the past, and that is is why the writer came on her trying to be vindictive through the book he published, because she had earlier edited the piece and removed some of the things which she found improper to be featured in there, and that was the reason for his grudge towards her for the past 15 years now.
In her words on that, "Evidently, he has been carrying this hatred ever since."
