Following the APC political rally at the Oke-Ado town of Ibadan on the 21st of November, which got an Inspector of Police consumed in death as a result of gun shots from the political thugs at the event, since then there seem to be incessant terror and war in four of the communities in Ibadan South West Local council, and the names are ; Idi-Arere, Born Photo, Isale Osi, and Popo, and this has left some three persons dead, while leaving many injured with several property worth millions of Naira destroyed.
Many of the political thugs since after that Political rally have been invading houses, looting people's treasures, burning down houses, and maiming people with all kinds of weapons like broken bottles, machetes, guns and heavy woods.
At this point according to report, several people have been rendered homeless, and some others have been subjected to perpetual loss of their livelihood, because a lot of vehicles, tricycles and motorcycles were seen burnt, causing collateral damages to the owners. Even some business owners and even residents have left their homes and business to run for their lives, because the situation is very terrible. This politically-motivated fracas has cost about 3-lives,10 houses and 200 shops burnt down.
At the meantime, the police has just waded in to the fracas and several arrests have been made while they try to calm the situation down so that peace and normalcy can return to these villages.
