The former Vice President of Nigeria has come out to make bold to correct the misnomer by Boko Haram, stating that Boko Haram is wrong, as Muslims believe and espouse all about education.
It is this misinterpretation of the Islamic credos, that has led to this terrorism of Boko Haram, because they don't get right. Instead of Boko Haram, it is Boko Halal-which means permissible, and not the Haram-which means forbidden.
One thing is to write laws. beliefs, and credos, another thing is to have the rightful interpretation to things it contains, this is the problem with these unwary and misformed Islamist terrorists, who misconstrue Boko Halal for Boko Haram and since then has wrecked havocs to this nation and its inhabitant. It quite sad as to what misinterpretation can do to some people.
