Mr President, Goodluck Jonathan, had in a 2014 Christmas Carol held at the Aso Rock Chapel of the Banquet Hall today, the 19th day of December, 2014, stated that God has a reason for making him the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He further said that God alone is the only one that would continue to lead him towards the discharge of his leadership stewardship to this great nation. He made a humble revelation about being in a Leader, how challenging every decision you tend to make is. That sometimes it's very difficult that you will have to reconsider in several times, and even seek for some the opinion of discerning minds before such resolution is made public.
Mr President speaking through his Media Spokesperson, Reuben Abati's website,
“For me your servant today, I will continue to request for your prayers that God should give me the wisdom to do what is right in His sight."
He further affirmed that there is no one who can ascend the statue of leadership if God doesn't permit it, and it is only God alone that can grant one the discerning spirit to lead right.
