President Good Ebele Jonathan (GEJ) announced today Friday December, 19, that the Federal government is making concerted effort to ensure that it attends to the challenges facing the health sector very swiftly.
One of such challenges is the unhealthy rivalry among the health professionals must looked into, so that a healthy relationship can exist between all health practitioners in all the health sectors.
Mr President made this vow today when he received the report of the Presidential committee that consist of Experts who are well grounded in building cordial relationship among the health professionals, and this committee was led by the Head of Service, Alhaji Mahmud Yayale Ahmed, who informed that there are about 50 causes of the rivalry between these health workers, which was identified after due consultations with at ;east 40 professional bodies within the members of the society and the Public Health sector .
Mr President, said that the FG is coming up with a quick step towards curbing this menace, because it is very disheartening that such situation exists within the health sector. and must be given utmost attention so that a healthy relationship can be maintained to enable a robust health vista.
