The immediate past Governor of Anambra State, Dr Peter Obi, has been greatly honoured by the Papacy in Rome with the revered investiture of Knighthood.
This honour as I learnt was to laud and appreciate Dr. Peter Obi's unparallel and selfless service to the people of Anambra State while in office for eight years as the Governor. That is to show his fear of God which brings about love for fellow humans, and as a leader to live out the best of leadership, and which he did.
Dr. Peter Obi was conferred the Knighthood of St. Sylvester, by the Pope, while the major event that commemorated that coveted honour was done yesterday at St. Patrick's Cathedral, Awka the capital city of Anambra State.
I know Peter Obi really worked, and I'm sure that others after him will follow his lead and ensure they surpassed his achievements.
