The Rivers State chapter of the National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) has unanimously lend their weight towards the implementation of the Local Government autonomy, in accordance with the National Conference's resolution as adopted earlier by the House of Representatives.
The Union has affirmed their full support to that resolve by the Lower House of Assembly, since this will stand as a symbol of the true devolution of power, as well as to propagate the dividends of democracy to the grassroots.
