Speaker House Of Reps, Tambuwal, Maintains Peace With President Jonathan

Aminu Tambuwal, Speaker House Of Reps

The Speaker House of Representatives, Alhaji Waziri Aminu Tambuwal has seem to have squashed the barrier that has for some time caused disaffection between him and President Goodluck Jonathan, after he gained unhindered access to preside at the House of Representatives as the leader of that Lower Chambers of the National Assembly.

Their enmity came to light after the defection of the Speaker, Tambuwal from the ruling Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) which brought him into the corridors of power to All Progressive Congress (APC).  But in a statement made by the Speaker yesterday during the plenary session the House of Reps had, he stated that the reason for his defection to the APC is for his own future ambitions, since he would want to realize the goal of emancipating his people of Sokoto State, through the attraction of dividends of democracy and political representation.

It was stated that President Jonathan made a written note to the Speaker earlier last week, asking him to accept his sincere considerations and respect for him, for which Tambuwal received with utmost happiness.

This the height of mutual understanding by two men of high academic backgrounds and visionary leadership too.
