President Goodluck Jonathan's convoy was attacked by violent group of people in Katsina State as he moves for his Presidential campaign in that state.
It was reported that the President's convoy was being stoned by some people who are suspected to be APC supporters, which then led to the All Progressive Congress (APC) through its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed to condemn such action .
Lai Mohammed said that it is not called for, since this is a democratic nation, and the law does not warrant anyone to carry such act on any political party, whether the people assents to the message of a political party or not, it is not right that anyone should move against any person in such a violent manner.
He also said that democratic leadership is not trying to seek absolute power, because at the end it's a voluntary event, and should be a must die affair.
