WHO Says Ebola Virus Disease Said To Have Killed 8,153 In Sierra Leone,Liberia And Guinea #EVD

The report from World Health Organisation (WHO) has confirmed that about 8,153 people have been killed by the Ebola Virus Disease #EVD in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea Republic.


It was revealed that out of the 20,656 Ebola suspected persons, 2,915 have so far died in Sierra Leone, while in Guinea it is recorded to be 1,767 and in Liberia the death toll is 3,471, which amounts to the total of 8,153 deaths as according to WHO.

As it stands now, it is said that the death rate is not so rife unlike when this epidemic struck some time in July 2014, and the infection rate is also declining, which then prompted the Liberian President, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf to make a formal announcement stating that all school shall resume come February 2nd, 2015. This result was also confirmed by Senator Chris
Coons, from the Unites States of America, when he visited the country.

Also, the Liberia's Football Association through its President, Musa Bility that the ban on its activities has been lifted which was for some time been closed following the fear of this deadly Ebola virus.
