Yaya Toure wins #2014 AFRICAN FOOTBALLER

The Ivorian midfielder who is one of the biggest and most celebrated footballers in his club side, Manchester City, Yaya Toure has beaten the Nigerian goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama to win the Confederation of African Football (CAF) African Footballer of the Year.


This winning by Yaya Toure is the fourth successive time he has taken this award ahead of several other nominees that have always emerged. This event was held in Lagos which was sponsored by the GLO telecom.

The Manchester City star was able to beat not just Nigerian Vincent Enyeama, but also Pierre Emerick Aubameyang of Gabon to emerge the winner for the fourth time in a row.
