MUD, the 'Art in Beauty' Make-Up-Designory, is here to announce the first edition of the make-up competition, which will serve as medium to spotlight artistes in the make up industry as well get them integrated into the higher levels of the artistry, thereby showcasing their skills all the way.

Here comes the three phases at which the competition shall be conducted .........

Phase 1: First Look ….Twenty Lucky Contestants will be selected

Step 1: Contestants will replicate a predesigned look created by the MUD Nigeria Team.

Step 2: Contestants will post the looks on their personal instagram page. Contestants MUST tag @mudnigeria and hashtag #MUDAIB2014. All images will be reposted on the @mudnigeriainstagram page by the MUDNG team

Step 3: Contestants can begin to inform family, friends and well- wishers to visit the @mudnigeria instgram page and like their images.

Step 4:  The Twenty (20) lucky contestants with the “MOST LIKES’ will be selected to move onto next round.

Phase 2 – Second Look….Five (5) Lucky Contestants will be selected

The second look will be posted on the @mudnigeriainstragram page and each of the 20 lucky contestants from the phase 1 will be tagged.

Step 1: The 20 selected contestants will repeat steps 1-3of phase 1.

Phase 3 – Grand Finale …. Five lucky contestants will be selected and invited to the MUD Nigeria Head office Lekki Phase 1 for the final leg of the competition

Step 1: The Five (5) Contestants will create a look to be provided on that day. Contestants will be required to come along with their models.

Step 2: MUD Nigeria MUA’s and external MUA’s will be invited to serve as judges for the grand finale

Step 3: Contestants will be judged based on predetermined criteria. Three (3) lucky contests will emerge as winners for the 1^st Edition of the MUD AIB Makeup Competition

The winners of the MUD AIB 2014 Makeup Competition will receive the following:

Grand Prize: Three Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (N350,000) worth of MUD Products and an opportunity to be a MUD Makeup Artist

Second Prize: Two HundredThousand Naira (N200,000) Worth of MUD products

Third Price: One Hundred thousand Naira (N100,000) worth of MUD Products

Deadline:

Phase 1 Deadline: October 31 2014 -November 14 2014

Phase 2 Deadline: November 17 2014 – November 28 2014

Grand Finale: Saturday December 13 2014

AIB CompetitionRules:

1.     Contestants must follow @mudnigeria on instagram to qualify

2.     Contestants MUST post pictures and image likes MUST happen within the deadline for each phase

3.     Final 5 contestants MUST come along with a model for the grand finale
