Governor Fashola of Lagos State accuses INEC of trying to stamp out the population

The governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola has stated yesterday that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is doing everything possible to stamp out its population from voting in the 2015 general elections.

He claimed INEC intentionally denied about nine local government councils in the state the chance to partake in the exercise of securing their Permanent Voters Card (PVC). He also said that even him the executive governor of the state is advised by the INEC officials to wait for a fresh registration before he could access the PVC, owing to their inability to cover the designated areas in the state by distributing the permanent voters card.

The National Assembly has stated that it is preparing to challenge President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (GEJ) over his negligence to the bills that had earlier been presented to him for endorsement.

NASS said that about a good number of its members have espoused to the move to impeach Mr President, owing to his inability to assent to the bills that was passed by the Assembly. According to the National Assembly, these bills are up to 30 of them, which the President has vehemently refused to endorse.

The Morocco's Erg Chebbi desert is quite large with also large seas of dunes, that is formed by wind-blown sand, and it has a very beautiful and unique orange colour.

Some of Moroccan legends were of the belief that the Erg Chebbi desert was sent by God as a sort of chastisement to the people of Morocco for lack of fair treatment to a fatigued traveler from the Sahara desert.
