Nigerian Police Force Apprehends UK Murder Suspect 'Jeffrey Okafor' Concludes Plans To Extradite Him To The UK

The men of the Nigerian Police force has clearly stated that they shall be extraditing Jeffrey Azuka Okafor to the UK in accordance with the International code of conduct, following the murder of Carl Beatson Asiedu on the 1st of August, 2009 outside a night club. It reported that since then, this 23-year old Nigerian have been in Nigeria as he fled from the UK as soon as he was declared as the prime suspect for the said murder.  But he was apprehended on September 23rd, 2014 in Asaba Delta state by the men of the Nigerian police force following a through investigation.


The Inspector General of Police 'IGP Suleiman Abba' commended the Police Intelligence Operatives for the successful arrest of this young man, and said that every steps required to officially hand-over the fugitive to the UK authorities have been put in place.

He further went on to reassure that the International laws shall be enforced by the Nigerian Police Force to ensure that no convicted suspect of any crime is accommodated.
