Damaged Eko Bridge Gets Repaired By Federal Government

Third Mainland Bridge is now repaired by FG

The Eko Bridge which is said to be collapsing following the 48 columns that got damaged by fire in 2008 has been repaired by the Federal Government through the Julius Berger construction company.


This Eko Bridge popularly known as Third Mainland bridge is now being fixed after the fire that gutted it some time in 2008, and at this moment, the traders and those who hawk and live under there have been asked to vacate the environment, because they were the source of that fire that nearly brought the bridge down.

This was stated by the Federal Controller of Works in Lagos State, Mr Godwin Eke, that those 48 Steel columns which was destroyed have been reinstalled and the bridge is coming back to its normal position.
