Presidency Pays Condolence Visit To Emir Of Kano, Alleges Insurgency Attacks On North-Eastern States Is Apolitical

The Presidential cabinet led by the Vice President, Architect Namadi Sambo, paid a condolence visit to the Emir of Kano State, Lamido Sanusi, yesterday in his palace, to commiserate with him and his entire emirates over the recent bomb blast that occurred at the Kano Central Mosque.

Vice President, Namadi Sambo, speaking at the visit on behalf President Goodluck Jonathan,stated that the recent bomb attacks in the North-Eastern states of Nigeria, precisely, Borno, Adamawa, Kano, and Yobe states were not politically motivated, as may be alleged by some people. He said that the Boko-Haram terrorist attacks witnessed in the country is a fight against the nation, and never an attack against any particular sect or group.


He therefore assured the Emir, and the good people of Kano state that the Federal government will do everything possible to wipe out this insurgency from our land, saying that the fight against terrorism is a global one, thereby enjoined all Nigerians to rise against this monster so that it can destroyed from our nation.

People should refrain from politicizing things of this great magnitude that requires utmost attention  corporate, and collective efforts of every citizens.

He finally prayed the Emir, and the people of Kano state to accept the condolences of the federal government over the unfortunate and inhumane act that was elicited to them by these Boko Haram insurgents.
