While everyone seemed to think Beyonce and Jay Z were on the fast track to divorcing, it turns out the billion-dollar couple were actually leasing this $45 million estate in the Holmby Hills neighborhood of Bel Air for a month earlier this summer. The modern mansion sits on 1.32 acres of land, and from the tennis court to the pool to the fact that there is 6,500 square feet of outdoor living spaces and terraces, this pad has it all. The 16,000-square-foot, three-story home has seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms, and it's brand new -- according to listing info, it was built in 2014, and it didn't even come on the market until May!
Variety's Dirt reports that Bey and J shelled out $200,000 to live here,
and while it's simply designed, after checking out all the photos, it's
pretty easy to see why they'd splash out $50k a week for the private
estate.
The living room has 20-foot ceilings, and the home's
other fancy features include a 75-foot gallery, a gym, a home theater, a
catering kitchen and a wine cellar.
