Ebola virus: Federal Government Re-announces A New Date For Resumption Of Primary Schools

The Federal government earlier last month postponed the resumption date of all private and public primary schools to October 13, 2014 because of the outbreak of the Ebola virus.
The government has directed and announced that the first date announced have been canceled and have shifted the resumption date to the September 22, 2014. This was disclosed by the Minister of Education, Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau in Abuja after an emergency meeting with the state commissioners for Education. He also warned that measures put in place to curb the spread of Ebola are still intact.

He added that all schools should embark on immediate sensitization of teaching and non-teaching staff in schools on preventive measures and this should be carried out before resumption of schools on the 22nd of September. Do you feel it's right that the school children should go back soon?
