SHOCKING NEWS: Over 3,000 Student Were Reported To Have Failed At The Nigerian Law School Examination

Nigerian Law School Complex Lagos

This is very shocking that in the field where the students are literally referred to as learned scholars are parading the greatest number of failures in the just released examination result that was intended to induct them into the fold of the Nigerian Bar Association as learned Practitioners.

It was gathered that the Nigerian Law School had just released the 2013/2014 result of the law students, and to say only but the least, it was a total disaster, as among the 5,000 candidates that sat for the examination, it was only 2,000 candidates that could make it successfully, while about 3,000 candidates were confirmed to have failed the examination beyond comprehension.

According to report released by the Nigerian Law School, this failure is the highest failure ever recorded in the history of the highly-respected and revered institution, which has lasted over 50-years. Reactions and mixed reactions have continued to trail the failure, as many believe that this level of failure wouldn't be a fault of the students, rather it may have resulted from the bias and unfair attitude of the Law School management and Board.

In the words of some of the people that reacted to this failure, stated as follows;

People have worked their strength off for this exam, people have ran literally mad for this exam, these same people have invested their life savings for this exam, people who lost their parents prior to this exam had to muster the strength to write this exam and the Director general of the Nigerian law school who is responsible for the this mass failure doesn't see reasons with these people. He said he's raising a standard but all we see is a high standard of failure!"

Read another student's words;

"Do we say 3000 students payed N300,000 not counting expenses for a year, feeding,books, then prepared to fail? We are calling for a review"

This is very sad to note if the management can actually pilot this mass failure, if so, the Federal government should intervene to ensure that this ugly incident does not repeat again.
