The former vice president of Nigeria 'Atiku Abubakar' has stated while he was on a courtesy visit to the governor of Jigawa state in Dutse the capital city, that he will not relegate his ambition of becoming the President of Nigeria until it is fulfilled.

He communicated that the major reason he visited the governor of Jigawa state is to get informed his party delegates ahead of their party's (APC) presidential primaries that is coming up soon.

He was the first vice president of the present day democratic dispensation in Nigeria that took inception on May 29th, 1999, under the Executive Presidency of Rtd Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo, and then, he was a staunch Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) member, but since 2007 his bid to mount the saddle of Presidency began, which was exactly 8-years which marked the completion of their two-terms in office.

While he could not get the presidential elections at the the PDP , which was the party that brought him to power, he then left together with some other former PDP members, and in collaboration with some members of the former Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) formed the now All Progressive Congress (APC) and everyone believes that it is under this political platform he shall contest for the presidency either in 2015 general elections or in the near future.

  1. Atiku Abubakar the political gladiator is here again a democrat who really believes in the proper democratization of Nigeria who has been contesting for the president of this country for the last 22 years. he has all the experience needed for the emancipation of this country. Yes the ticket of the APC is almost a done deal because of the proper political consultation that you have carried for the past couples of week. Carry on Turaki the man with the policy document that will bring an end to the present systemic quagmire facing our dear country Nigeria. A Nigeria for all is what we have been dreaming for.
