The latest news now is that Lagos State government repatriated about 70 northern beggars.
The reason for this deportation was because they were abusing the law of the land, which is stated that no beggar should ever been spotted begging publicly.
But it was also reported through an Hausa radio that when some of the deportees were interviewed, they said they were kept in detention for some months, before they were finally sent down to their various States in North.
