Today, Sunday 28th of December, 2014 at the Christ Apostolic Church located at Area 1, Durumi, Abuja together with many other Christian faithfuls prayed for the future of the Nigerian nation, especially for a successful and peaceful 2015 general elections.
According to Vanguard News in a statement made by President Jonathan in which he said that “Next year is a tempting year for us. Elections year in third world countries is always a turbulent year with all kinds of predictions. I however believe that the God who brought us to this level will see us through."
He also prayed for all the politicians that they all may shun any vices which may cause violence or bloodshed in Nigeria as a result of the elections of 2015.
