The super ebony beauty, Serena Williams today beat her arch rival Maria Sharapova to win her sixth Australian Open and 19th career Grand Slam.
This Tennis star, who has written her names in the history books of world legends was able to win her opponent with this 6-3, 7-6 (7/5), and this is to show that this gorgeous American star has been able to surpass the 18-time major champions, Martina Navratilova and Chris Evert, to emerge the second on the all-time Open-era Grand Slam winner's list, which is said to be 3 away from Steffi Graf.
Maria in her words, she said , I've got to congratulate Serena on creating history and playing some of her best tennis".
While Serena on her own side said, “I haven’t beaten her for a really long time but I love every time I step out on the court with her because she’s been the best and as a tennis player you want to play against the best.”
It's such a great feat by Serena and I must say a big congratulations to her for the the success.
