"Atiku Abubakar" Says Don’t Use Harsh Tag on My Twitter Name

Former vice president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, has called on his social media followers to stop the #bringbackAtiku campaign on the social media which he says is very sensitive.

According to him, “I've seen a few followers tweeting #bringbackAtiku - this is very insensitive and wrong. Please stop this hashtag immediately.” “I do not approve of this hashtag. Kindly stop using it. It's insensitive. “@MojeedOlabode: @atiku #bringatiku2015”

He explained that Nigeria has grown to a point where diligent leaders can come out help get the country’s priorities right and not leaders that people will be begging.
