Governor Ayo Fayose Says He Goes To Beer Parlour Every Friday To Hang Out With His People

Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state, is happy with his governance and his people

The newly elected governor of Ekiti state "Ayo Fayose' has revealed with happiness how free and safe one can walk within the state right now, owing the kind of governance he's promised to give to the people of Ekiti state as a governor.

He therefore maintained that the state is as free as a Church, and as the governor, he walks freely, and goes to the beer parlour to drink and dine with the locals in the state, without any fear of being harmed, due to his idea of introducing the 'Stomach infrastructure' which he says that it doesn't only mean the sharing of foods and drink,  but will create an atmosphere of peace and tranquility within the state.

In his words to newsmen at Abuja, the amiable and man -of -the -people's governor states thus;

"I go to beer parlour on Friday to stay with the common men there. Governance is not church;  it is about diverse characters and you must relate with them as such. Christmas is coming. Why do people go out of their ways to be shopping or doing other things if it is not just to make people merry? So, I’m grooming chicken, buying rice, yams, plantain, and the rest of them. I am sure if I give it to families during the festive period, they will be happy. So, stomach infrastructure is a way of life.”

I think this is a very nice way to let the dividends of democracy get to the people, by making them feel closely bonded with their leader, this way it will maintain confidence and trust between the led and the leader.
