Beyonce And Rihanna To Be Introduced As Courses Into The Universities In The United States Of America By Spring 2015

Beyonce and Rihanna to be introduced into Austin University in Texas 2015 Spring

Wow! this is funny, as well as true! But the question I ask is how would one get into school to study any of these women? Lol!

Well, it has been clearly stated that by April 2015, two sets of news courses shall be introduced into the University of Austin, Texas, and those course are said to be Beyonce Feminism, Rihanna Womanism. Therefore students are expected to start making their career choices on any of these two, as soon as it hits the higher ground of learning in Austin Texas next year, in the Spring season of 2015.

In accordance with the statement released by the University, it says thus;

“They will not be simply listening to BeyoncĂ© and Rihanna for fun or even comparing the roles of BeyoncĂ© and Rihanna in popular culture, rather, students will be studying how the lyrics, music videos, and actions of these women express various aspects of black feminism such as violence, economic opportunity, sexuality, standards of beauty, and creative self-expression.”

The course, according to its listing, “Hopes for students to understand the role black feminism plays in culture as well as everyday".

A number of colleges have already made similar moves; including ‎Georgetown University which offers a sociology course based on Jay-Z, Harvard University which offers a course on Tupac Shakur and Rutgers University which already offers its own Beyonce course titled "Politicizing Beyonce."

I hope you better start preparing to go into the study of these do-singers! Lol..
