Governor Sule Lamido Of Jigawa State Kicks Against President Jonathan's Re-election

Sule Lamido openly rejects President Jonathan's second term bid

Just during the weekend at the Jigawa capital city of Dutse on Saturday, the governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido shown his disapproval over the re election bid of President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 general elections.

This was stated that Sule Lamido has not been happy as to the manner he has been treated by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) all these while, and which he thought that with President Goodluck as the leader of the party, this anomaly would have been corrected.

Furthermore, that there were promises made to his state by President Jonathan which he is yet to fulfill and these are actually his grievances as he has strongly made his avowal stating his rejection over the re-election of President Jonathan in 2015 .

This open refusal of Jonathan's re-election by Sule Lamido was broadcasted live on the National media units as well as its private counterparts. It was said that President Jonathan's posters were not displayed anywhere around the PDP rally ground that Saturday, and this has gone a long way to show that the host governor does not support the move by Jonathan to clinch back the Presidential seat come 2015 February 14 general elections.

The governor's annoyance over Jonathan is that he has never fulfilled his promises as well as the party as a whole, and that the International Airport built in the state capital of Dutse, which President Goodluck Jonathan commissioned on the 21st of October 2014 has not until this point reimbursed the state upto a quarter of its expenditure. According to source, this airport was said to have cost about N15 billion and that the Federal government hasn't even paid the Jigawa State up to N500 million.

So these are said to be the reasons why the governor, Sule Lamido is showing lack of approval of President Jonathan's second term bid, since he feels that he is mercilessly marginalized by the this administration, at least he should have been granted the full support as one of the major stakeholders of the party by paying great attention to things that concerns his state. Until now, not even a single project according to the governor was done by President Goodluck nor the party.
