PDP Lawmakers Implores Abuja High Court To Expel Speaker House Of Representatives

Speaker House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal

The report reaching my desk has it that the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Lawmakers have implored the Abuja High Court to expel the Speaker, House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal, from his post, and automatically impose his deputy, Emeka Ihedioha as the new Speaker.

This report according to a close source stated that, the PDP Lawmakers made this move through one its members, siaq Abiodun Akinlade, asking Justice Evoh Chukwu, who is from Ebonyi state, the same state where Secretary to the Federal government , Pius Anyim hails from.

Going by this development, some lawyers are thereby calling for the immediate removal of the case from Justice Chukwu whom they regard as a pro-government judge and said that it should be handled by other judges.

Meanwhile, Tambuwal has filed a suit against any such motion as was presumed to be carried on by the said PDP lawmakers pending when the suit in the chambers of Justice Ahmed Ramat Muhammed, that was earlier filed in regards to this issue is settled.
