Police ASP Punched By A Naval Officer Goes Blind

ASP Mbila

This is very shocking that one Mr Emmanuel Mbilla, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP)  is on the verge of losing his sight at this point following the attack from a Naval officer by names Warrant Officer Unaji Enejor, during an encounter few months ago at the Kirikiri area of Lagos State.

It was said that a naval officer on the 22nd of February drove recklessly hitting the pavement of the police officer's shop, and in accosting the naval man to know what led to that act, then a little misunderstanding broke out, which led to the naval officer throwing a punch to one of the ASP's eye, and already this man has been suffering glaucoma, so this resulted to getting the state worse, and at this moment according to one of his wives, the said Police Officer is almost blind, for there hasn't been any form of medical treatment  he hasn't sought for trying to get a cure but to no avail.

According to Sun News, the second wife of the ASP,  Mrs Mbilla said that her husband who used to drive his car and do most of the things by himself is now relying on his two wives for everything, as he could no longer go to work nor attend to other things that could generate income for the family's upkeep.

She has taken him to several hospitals within the Lagos metropolitan, yet there seem to be no means of fixing the eye problem which got bad due to the punch the naval officer gave to that part of the eye. It's been terrible for them now, that the family is becoming beggars all of a sudden to earn a livelihood.
