World Health Organization (WHO) Draws 60 Days Target To Tackle Ebola In West Africa

The World Health Organization (WHO) has set a 60 days target to tackle Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) in the West African regions, starting from the 1st of December, 2014, which was yesterday.


WHO stated this through its Assistant Director General, Bruce Aylward, that it would ensure that the victims of this Ebola disease is placed in proper isolation, so that they can be treated well, more importantly to the three West African countries, Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Guinea, that were worst hit by the epidemic.

WHO stated that so far, the death toll resulting from this deadly Ebola virus has risen to 6,928, and if proper medical care is not proffered quickly, an upsurge in the death toll may be witnessed real soon.
