Ex President 'Olusegun Obasanjo' Cautions President Jonathan Over Espousal Of Verbal Recklessness

Ex President Olusegun Obasanjo

The Nigerian former President 'Chief Olusegun Obasanjo' yesterday at a book launch in Abuja which was in honour of Mustapha Akanbi‎, the pioneer Chairman of Independent Corrupt Practices Commission, ICPC, stated that President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan should desist from feuding verbally as well as inspiring it, because it may not substantially hurt, but it sure has systems of relapsing into actual carnage.

He further stated that the Nigerian Democracy shall be made to stand the risk of crumbling going by the proceedings of the President Jonathan's administration, because the greatest charge against any administration is when it works towards killing the oppositions, which undeviatingly aim at wrecking democracy.

He therefore maintained that democracy should be handled without options of recklessness and tyrannical propensities, but with total humility and respect for God and mankind,  to ensure a successful democratic governance.

He further talked about the Boko-Haram insurgency, and said that it took President Jonathan several years to grasp that threat, and on corruption, he said that when the apex is nasty, the entire structure is  worthless.
